Back in August Microsoft announced changes to its commercial pricing for Microsoft 365—the first substantive pricing update since Office 365 launched over a decade ago.
The Microsoft announcement and justification can be found here.
New pricing will commence from 1st March 2022, however Microsoft have yet to release confirmed prices for the UK. Our understanding is that final UK prices will not be released until 30 days before the 1st March date.
Whilst only speculation at this point we expect prices to increase by between 10% and 40% dependant on product.
The only thing that we can confirm at this stage is that there will be an increase, and there will be changes to the options for paying for your Microsoft licencing.
What Does This Mean For You
This does not mean your price will automatically go up on March 1st.
The pricing increase will be staggered due to the way we purchase licences.
We will be in contact with you at least 60 days prior to your price increase to talk you through the options you have.
